    Light Anti-Aircraft Memorial

The Light Anti-Aircraft Memorial is situated at the 16th Air Land Regiment’s Woodside Barracks, in South Australia’s Adelaide Hills. The Memorial consists of a Mk 12 40 mm Bofors anti-aircraft gun (in the deployed position). On the front of the gun’s shield are two plaques. The first plaque commemorates the departure of 111th Light Anti-Aircraft Battery to Malaysia in 1964, whilst the second plaque commemorates the service in Malaysia of both 110th Light Anti-Aircraft Battery and 111th Light Anti-Aircraft Battery, over the period 1964 - 1966, and is in memory of two gunners who died on active service during the Indonesian Confrontation.
