On This Day Monday 28th November 1949 his Majesty, King George VI, granted the Royal Australian Artillery approval to adopt the Royal Regiment of Artillery’s motto Quo Fas et Gloria Ducunt (Where Right and Glory Lead). This new motto replaced the Australian Artillery’s previous motto Consensu Stabiles (Strong in Agreement). |
